Freshening up the SR isnt cheap. I have had this conversation with alot of people who think they can buy an engine from an importer and drop it in. Its not like that. You essentially have to double the price of the engine to have an actual price of swapping in a engine.
Below is what I chose to replace. I tried to use all OEM or quality parts because my goal is to daily this car and stop driving my truck. New OEM gaskets, oil pan, oil pick up, FPR, fuel filter, and turbo. Gates belts and Exedy Clutch Slave and Master Cylinder. New Walbro 255 fuel pump and SS lines to replace the old 30 year old parts. New motor and transmission mounts as well as a new PBM downpipe. The clutch is a simple “stage 2” replacement with a new flywheel to replace the old worn unit. What isnt shown is a new DC Sport Turbo manifold (wanted to try their design out for the sounds), turbo oil drain and greddy FMIC kit.

I also order a new Koguchi Power bonnet and picked up a GGrow rear lip (not pictured). The KP bonnet has been a thing that I have wanted for a really long time and Im glad I pulled the trigger. The GGrow rear lip is something new that I have been looking at. It is lower than the OEM valances so I feel it might flow a little better.
